OK, I know it's a while since I've posted, but Mum & Dad broke the computer. Its kind of working at the moment but I'm keeping my paws crossed that it doesn't crash......
Besides which, we've been a bit busy. Yep - solid food. What a mess. They sit in it, lay in it, pee in it. Occasionally they even eat some. Mind you, it couldn't have come a moment too soon. My undercarriage has had just about all it can take. I remember the days when I had a taut midriff and my coatbuttons were pert.....but, *sob*, no more. I guess I'll just have to get going with the bullworker.

How cute is snowy????!!!!

Any of you like minded dogs out there thinking of having a litter of puppies, let me tell you - for the first two weeks this is all they do! They can't get enough.

I feel used and abused, they treat this whelping box like a hotel.....blah blah blah.

Well the babies are growing by the day. One by one they are slowly starting to open thier eyes - they can't see just yet, that will be another few days. Then they will start to stand and walk. Thats when the trouble really starts!
In this picture is Za Za. She was one of the smaller pups. But she has been eating well and whilst she still has a little bit of catching up to do she is perfectly formed! Mum calls her little bear - 'cos thats what she looks like.....

Birthday!

Well, they came two days early!
I had the pups on Thursday 30th August. The first one arrived at 1240.
I took everyone by surprise! Dad had gone to the supermarket. I hopped out of my bed and popped out a pup! "I'm not ready Pogle...."said Mum.
I had the first 4 in an hour.
The first was a chunky brindle and white boy that Mum and Dad have named Hector for now.

Then came a brindle and white girl (Binka), alittle dark brown boy (Mole), and a pure white boy (Snowy). Everyone thought I was done, then I produced another white boy with two dark spots (Spot - how original), and a little brindle and white girl (Za za). I waited another hour, then gave birth to a big brindle and white girl (Ki ki).

Dad stayed up with me all night to make sure I was OK. Then sadly at 1.30 AM I had a stillborn boy (Titch). Mum and Dad buried him in the garden under the trees.

So thats it for now! I'm pretty tired and am going to get some rest. The pups have grown so much already and are only 48 hours old. I will post more pics when I get the chance!
